The Minnesota Vikings have been having trouble staying competitive in football games of late. On Sunday, staying competitive wasn't the problem, though. The problem was the team not being able to hold onto a lead, and the team not being able to stop Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, who once again brought his team from behind to win a game in the fourth quarter. Minnesota played well, but in the end, quarterback Christian Ponder was bested by Tebow - take that for whatever you want it to mean. As such, the Vikings are truly near the very bottom of most of the weekly power rankings.
ESPN doesn't drop the Vikings any in their Week 14 NFL power rankings:
30. Good move to give Leslie Frazier another year. Because the talent level has dropped off so much, there are no quick fixes. (Clayton)
Minnesota didn't drop this week because they're already in the bottom three of the league. The only teams lower are the St. Louis Rams and the winless Indianapolis Colts. They've only got the draft and next season to look forward to at this point.
