SB Nation Minnesota's Pick For Thursday Night Football

I did put this on the Twitter earlier in case I was unable to get home in time to put something up, but now that I'm here. . .

Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (-14)

The Steelers are still tied record-wise with the Baltimore Ravens on top of the AFC North, but are realistically a game behind because they got swept by Baltimore and would lose any tie to them as a result. Tonight, they host their division rivals from Cleveland, who are going through another tough season.

This one looks like a total mismatch. . .this is the first time these teams have met this season (they'll get together in Cleveland for the season finale as well), and it doesn't look like it will be pretty for Cleveland going into Heinz Field. Only four teams in the National Football League score fewer points per game than the 14.6 that Cleveland has averaged this season. Only three teams in the NFL allow fewer than the 16.2 points that the Steelers allow on average.

Usually a 14-point spread is a bit daunting, but at home against an overmatched opponent, the Steelers should be able to handle it.
