Brad Childress To Do Draft Work For CBS Sports

Do you miss former Vikings' head coach Brad Childress? Come on, you know you do.

What, not even a little bit? Well, then, stop reading the rest of this story.

Chilly is going to have a gig on NFL Draft day after all. He will be giving analysis on the draft for an online show that will be streamed at CBSSports.com, which the site announced on Monday.

↵

Childress will join anchor Jason Horowitz (whoever he is. . .no offense to Mr. or Mrs. Horowitz), as well as Dan Fouts and Randy Cross (who I'm guessing you've heard of) and offering his analysis on the streaming program.

It might not be as bad as it sounds at first blush . . . after all, the problem with Brad Childress in Minnesota really wasn't his ability to spot talent. Picks like Adrian Peterson, Sidney Rice, Ray Edwards, and others are a testament to that. Since there won't be any actual game day coaching involved, Childress might be interesting to listen to.

You never know. . .he might even crack a joke or two. Or, you know. . .not.
