Jared Allen Points Fingers At The Owners

Minnesota Vikings' defensive end Jared Allen doesn't much like being locked out, and just wants to get back to playing football. . .and if you're not sure about whose fault it is that he's not, just ask him. He'll be happy to tell you.

The calf-ropingest defensive end in the National Football League sat down with "Doug and Wolf" of Sports 620 KTAR in Phoenix, Arizona for an interview this morning, and vented a little bit about the current situation with the owners and the players.

↵

To be specific, he said, "To all of our fans. Us as players, we're trying to play football. I know people are getting pissed off saying it's just millionaires and billionaires arguing over money, but there are some other issues to be discussed. The bottom line is players want to play football."

Doesn't get much more plain than that, does it?
