Buccaneers At Vikings: Minnesota Falls Apart In Second Half, Loses 24-20

In the first half of their two games this season, the Minnesota Vikings have outscored their opponents by a score of 34-7.

In the second half of their two games so far this season, the Minnesota Vikings have been outscored by their opponents by a score of 41-3.

And that's why the Vikings currently sit at 0-2 after their 24-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon at the Metrodome.

Things got off to a promising start for the Vikings, as they went into the locker room leading 17-0 on the strength of two Adrian Peterson touchdown runs. But, just as they did last week against San Diego, the Vikings got picked apart by short passes and tough running inside.

We'll have a more detailed recap of things later on, but for now we're going to let this one digest. The Vikings have dropped another game that they should have won, this time to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a final score of 24-20.
