The Minnesota Vikings have been outscored 64-3 in the second halves of ball games this year, and the latest three points have allowed the Detroit Lions to come all the way back, as they now lead the Vikings by a score of 23-20 with two and a half minutes left to go at the Metrodome.
The Vikings scored the first 20 points of this game, but the Lions have come back with a vengeance after the break. The Minnesota offense has, literally, done nothing, while the Lions have met little resistance going up and down the field, with Matthew Stafford picking apart the zone defense the Vikings are playing enroute to another 300-yard passing performance.
With a little more than two minutes left from the Metrodome, the Minnesota Vikings now trail the Detroit Lions by a score of 23-20.
