NFL Draft 2012: Matt Kahil Not The Top OT In Mike Maycock's Rankings

Recently, the Minnesota Vikings have seemed to narrow in on Southern California offensive tackle Matt Kalil as their best pick for the third overall pick. The first and second picks seem fairly set, though mostly because a trend of the Cleveland Browns trading up to get Robert Griffin III seems to be an emerging trend, and a lot of draftniks have stated that Matt Kalil is the best non quarterback prospect in the draft.

NFL Network Mike Maycock obviously feels differently judging by his list of top five players at each position yesterday released via a scroll on the bottom of the screen during the senior bowl. Buffalo Bills reporter Chris Brown was kind enough to create a list of them online for us, and you'll notice that it is not Matt Kalil at the top of the tackles, but Iowa prospect Riley Reiff.

It's a bit surprising to see, in the most recent SB Nation 2012 NFL Mock Draft Reiff falls all the way to 12th where the Chiefs take him. If this is the beginning of a trend shift, you may start seeing a new name sneak into the mocks for the Vikings in future weeks.
