Madden NFL 12 Roster Updates, Wild Card Playoffs: Vikings See Net Gain In Probable Final Changes

The Minnesota Vikings are on the back-end of a tough season, and have a lot to think about heading into the offseason. They've got a top draft pick and injuries to their star running back to think about. Though their season is ended, there's a Madden NFL 12 roster update going live on Friday that brings some changes. For Minnesota, this will likely be the last update, while teams in the playoffs will likely continue to receive changes.

There's nine changes overall for the Vikings, and all of them are changes to player rating. Despite losing to the Chicago Bears on Sunday, they have more players going up than down, but just by one. Unfortunately, some of the players trending downward are significant, like tight end Visanthe Shiancoe, but they do have some significant increases as well, such as defensive lineman Jared Allen. Make the jump for a full list of Vikings changes.

Increases

DL Letroy Guion 66 to 69
DL Brian Robison 83 to 86
DL Jared Allen 97 to 98
LB E.J. Henderson 87 to 88
S Jamarca Sanford 75 to 77

Decreases

QB Christian Ponder 75 to 74
TE Visanthe Shiancoe 80 to 78
WR Devin Aromashodu 71 to 71
OL Anthony Herrera
