Prior the beginning of the season, the over/under for win totals for both the Cardinals and Vikings was set at six. Despite the low expectations in preseason, the two teams are in the thick of the postseason talk entering Week 7, as each have 4-2 records.
Both coming off their second losses of the season in Week 6, the Vikings are 7.5 point favorites due to the home-field advantage and back-to-back losses for the Cardinals. After starting the season 4-0, the NFC West team lost to both the Rams and the Bills in subsequent weeks and lost quarterback Kevin Kolb to injury.
Instead the Cardinals will rely on John Skelton in Kolb's place to try and end the losing skid. After winning the starting job for Arizona, Skelton suffered an injury in Week 1 and was replaced by Kolb, who led the team back to a comeback victory over the Seahawks.
When Kolb went down against the Bills, Skelton had the opportunity to lead a comeback, but came up just short as the Cardinals lost in overtime.
