NFL schedule 2012: Vikings travel to Seattle in Week 9

The Vikings will have to pull out a victory in one of the toughest road venues in football.

After getting crushed at home by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Thursday night, the Minnesota Vikings will head West to face the Seattle Seahawks (4-4). The Vikings enter the game with a 5-3 record, but with the Chicago Bears streaking out in front of the NFC North, Minnesota will be looking to take home a victory in one of the most raucous road venues in all of the NFL, where Seattle has yet to lose this year. The game kicks off at 3:05 p.m. CT on FOX.

Elsewhere around the NFC North, the Bears (6-1) will face a cross-conference opponent when they travel to the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee lost in Week 8 to the Indianapolis Colts (3-5), but have defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions at home so far this season. That game kicks off at noon CT on CBS.

The Green Bay Packers (5-3), a week after squeaking past the Jacksonville Jaguars, will host the Arizona Cardinals, who were pounded at home on Monday night by the San Francisco 49ers. A Packers win coupled with a loss by the Vikings would elevate Green Bay to second in the division. That game starts at noon CT on FOX.

The Lions, meanwhile, will travel to face the Jags, who have been the whipping boys of the NFC North so far this year. All three North teams have defeated Jacksonville this year, and the Lions can continue to get back in the playoff discussion if they become the fourth. That game starts at noon CT on CBS.
