After initially being listed as questionable, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt is active for the team's game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, the team announced. Many didn't believe that Britt would be able to go against Minnesota, but the Titans will need all of their weapons against a solid Vikings defense.
Britt initially told reporters at the end of this week's practices that he wasn't feeling great, but it appears that his condition has improved enough since Friday to allow him to play. The fourth-year pro has only played in two games so far this year, catching seven passes for 60 yards.
With starting quarterback Jake Locker sitting out with a shoulder injury, veteran Matt Hasselbeck is getting the nod for Tennessee. He had mixed results taking over for Locker against the Houston Texans last week, but he generally put up solid numbers as the Titans' starter last year before handing over the job to Locker.
