It's uncertain whether or not Jay Cutler will play in the Week 12 matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings, leading many oddsmakers to not offer a line at all. Cutler sustained a concussion in the Bears' Week 10 matchup with the Houston Texans, and to say the Bears are a different team without him is an understatement.
Cutler was averaging 181.4 yards per game this season, including Week 10. In their Monday night game against the San Francisco 49ers, the Bears managed only 58 yards through the air. The offense managed only 143 yards in total, compared to more than 281 yards up to Week 11.
Cutler was cleared to return to practice earlier this week, but his status for Sunday's game is still unknown, leading to the game being pulled off the board. The quarterback has not yet been cleared by an independent neurologist, as required by the NFL's concussion policy.
