Percy Harvin injury: Vikings receiver doubtful for Week 13 vs. Packers

It's unlikely that Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin will suit up in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.

Percy Harvin (ankle) is listed as doubtful on the Minnesota Vikings' injury report for Week 13, which means there is only a 25 percent chance Harvin will play against the Green Bay Packers. Harvin engaged in limited participation in team practice on Wednesday, but he did not participate on Thursday or Friday.

The Vikings' dynamic receiver and return man injured his ankle during Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks, and he has missed the past two contests as a result. Christian Ponder and the Vikings own the No. 30 passing offense in the NFL, and Harvin leads the team with 62 receptions for 677 yards.

The receiving corps is very thin behind Harvin. Michael Jenkins has caught 30 passes, Jerome Simpson has 12 catches since joining the team mid-season and Devin Aromashodu only has 11 receptions on the season. Ponder has struggled to find open receivers when Harvin is not in the lineup, and the Packers are an opportunistic defense that could cause problems for Minnesota this weekend.

The Vikings and Packers are set to kick off at noon CT on Sunday. The game will be televised on FOX.
