Vikings At Seahawks: Marshawn Lynch Puts The Seahawks Up 10

The Seattle Seahawks put together a long, impressive drive on their second possession of the second half to increase their lead over the Minnesota Vikings at CenturyLink Field.

After the two teams exchanged punts on their first possessions of the quarter, the Seahawks put together a nine-play, 72-yard drive that took six minutes and fifteen seconds off of the clock. The drive culminated with a 3-yard touchdown run by Marshawn Lynch, with the extra point pushing the score to 27-17 in favor of the home team.

Making things worse for the Vikings is that Percy Harvin did not come out for the ensuing kickoff, which was returned by Marcus Sherels. Harvin had a hamstring injury coming into this one, and it appears that he may have aggravated it at some point during the afternoon.

If the Vikings want to keep this one from getting out of control, they need to do something on this upcoming drive, and Adrian Peterson has gotten them off to a good start with a nice, long run.

With about three minutes left in the second quarter, the Minnesota Vikings trail the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 27-17.
