Vikings vs. Rams: Most experts picking against Minnesota

New, 1 comment

The majority of the experts who pick games at ESPN, CBS, and Yahoo! are going against the Vikings on Sunday, instead choosing the suddenly hot Rams.

USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams square off on Sunday in St. Louis, with both teams desperately needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Vikings have the NFL's leading rusher in Adrian Peterson, but most of the experts from the media are picking the Rams to come away with the win.

Only four of the 12 game pickers at ESPN sided with the Vikings, although their Accuscore game simulator did pick the Vikings to win. Only three of the eight experts at CBSSports.com picked the Vikings, and only one of three at Yahoo! did so. Part of the reason why is that the Vikings have dropped three of their past five games, while the Rams have won three games in a row.

The Vikings and Rams are scheduled to kickoff at 1 p.m. ET from the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. The Rams are slight favorites at most books, according to OddsShark.com.
