The 2013 NFL Draft is far from the minds of most Minnesota Vikings fans as the team looks to clinch a playoff berth on Sunday, but there are those inside the franchise already focused on how to improve the team in the upcoming draft. Minnesota could upgrade at various positions, but one area where they may look for an infusion of talent is along either line.
At CBS, draft analysts Rob Rang and Dane Brugler differ in their projections for Minnesota's first round pick, which currently sits at No. 19 overall. Rang sees Minnesota adding youth to the interior of its offensive line in the form of North Carolina guard Jonathan Cooper, while Brugler sees the Vikings opting to add a stout defensive tackle in John Jenkins of Georgia.
Either pick would potentially make the Vikings better moving forward, though which position groups the team is specifically targeting with their first pick will likely become clearer as the draft draws nearer.
