NFL Mock Draft: Minnesota Vikings Still Projected To Take Matt Kalil

It's no surprise any more when the Minnesota Vikings are being projected to pick USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil in the 2012 NFL Draft. He's the best prospect that isn't a Quarterback and there's no drama involving them trading their pick up to a team seeking Robert Griffin III any more since the Rams got a whole boatload of picks from the Washington Redskins for the right to get him.

The new SB Nation 2012 Mock Draft is out with the top two picks locked solidly in place, and the third pick seems to be pretty solidly locked in as well for them with Kalil going to the Vikings as usual.

This has to be the pick, but will it? Leslie Frazier made googly eyes at Justin Blackmon at Oklahoma State's pro day event last week. Kalil is the best player in this draft, after the two quarterbacks. He has all the makings of an elite left tackle, and should make a difference the minute he steps on the field.

If you're not already used to the name, Vikings fans, you might want to accustom yourself to it because Kalil to the Vikings is starting to seem like as much a lock as Andrew Luck to the Colts. Unless, of course, Leslie Frazier and Justin Blackmon really are a tandem.
