2012 NFL Mock Draft: Vikings Sticking With Matt Kalil In SB Nation Mock

The draft is quickly approaching on Thursday night, and the newest SB Nation 2012 NFL Mock Draft is sticking to its guns when it comes to the Minnesota Vikings.

Despite rumors of the Vikings looking very hard at CB Morris Claiborne, SB Nation is sticking with USC OT Matt Kalil for the Vikings in the first round with the third overall selection. Of course, there's still a chance that the Vikings trade the pick as well but it looks like it's mostly down between Claiborne and Kalil.

Things start getting confusing here. A few are holding forth that the Vikings will pick Claiborne, a very realistic scenario. I still think they should go with Kalil. Don't over-think it.

Of course, this is the NFL draft so it's just about impossible to not over-think it. And the closer we get to Thursday when the Vikings finally make their call, the more over-thinking is going to be done.
