NFL Mock Draft 2012: Matt Kalil Among Others Going To Vikings In NFL.com Seven-Round Mock

With speculation swirling as to whether the Minnesota Vikings will be trading the number three overall selection in Thursday night's NFL Draft, Chad Reuter of NFL.com projects what he thinks the Vikings will do with their first pick as well as what the other seven-rounds have in store:

1 (3) Matt Kalil, OT, USC
2 (35) Rueben Randle, WR, LSU
3 (66) Jayron Hosley, CB, Virginia Tech
4 (98) Terrell Manning, LB, North Carolina State
4 (128) Marcus Forston, DT, Miami
4 (134) Adam Gettis, OG, Iowa
5 (138) Phillip Thomas, FS, Syracuse
6 (175) Audie Cole, LB, North Carolina State
7 (210) Mike Harris, CB, Florida State
7 (223) Dale Moss, WR, South Dakota State

As you can see, Reuter believes that the Vikings will indeed hold onto the pick and will select Matt Kalil. Stating that there aren't many sure-fire left tackle prospects, he believes the team should pick Kalil and adress their other needs later in the draft.

After projecting that wide receiver Rueben Randle will be selected with their second pick, Reuter sees the Vikings addressing the defensive side of the ball with their next three picks before drafting offensive guard Adam Gettis with their final selection in the fourth round.
