The Minnesota Vikings may not have their rookies under contract just yet, but they're still gearing up for their training camp. A training camp that will take place in Mankato, Minnesota - for the 47th consecutive year. The Vikings will hold their 2012 Verizon Vikings Training Camp there, according to the official website.
It's more of a public training camp - with fans coming from all over to observe daily practices and take part in all the things the Vikings organization has planned for them in the Vikings Village. There will also be autograph signings and all things of that nature, sponsored by Northland Ford.
The players will report to the camp on Thursday, July 26, and will last three weeks, breaking on Thursday, Aug. 16. Not everything will be open to the public, but there will be a lot of things most days during that period, and the Vikings will announce some dates and specific times in the coming weeks.
