Percy Harvin, Adrian Peterson, Chad Greenway And Jared Allen Absent From OTAs Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Minnesota Vikings had several prominent players missing from Organized Team Activities, which included Percy Harvin, Adrian Peterson, Chad Greenway and Jared Allen. Of the three players, Allen is the only player not to attend a single day of OTAs.

Harvin and Greenway both attended practice on Tuesday but missed out on Wednesday's workout. There was no explanation for Harvin's absence, but Greenway had called Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier on Wednesday morning to discuss with him a lingering family matter, which was the explanation for his absence. Greenway missed some time last week due to the same issue.

Peterson, who is coming off of a torn anterior cruciate ligament, was at OTAs last week working with a trainer instead of the team. There was no explanation for why he was absent at Wednesday's workout. In addition, rookie wide receiver Greg Childs did not participate in workouts because of a calf strain.
