The Minnesota Vikings had themselves a bit of an injury scare on Monday at training camp when wide receiver Percy Harvin hurt his right hand and had to leave the field, via Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN.
After being taken off the field on a cart, it was apparent Harvin had only jammed a finger. He sat out for 20 minutes, had his finger taped, and returned to (limited) action.
This comes after another Vikings wide receiver, Jerome Simpson, went down after bumping knees with Zack Bowman. Yup, that's two injury scares in the last two days of practice. Not to worry, though: Simpson is back and practicing and coach Leslie Frazier says that Harvin "will be fine."
Training camp will continue on Tuesday.
