Despite a volatile quarterback situation in 2011, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin racked up career highs in catches, receiving yards, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns while tying his career high in receiving touchdowns. The Vikings wide receiver also played in 16 games for the first time in his career.

The result of his 2011 season— at least from a fantasy football perspective— is a ranking as one of the top 20 receivers in fantasy football. In their preseason receiver rankings, SB Nation fantasy blog Fake Teams ranks Harvin as the No. 18 overall receiver. Here's the site on that particular ranking:

When I say "Harvin" you think "migraines", but he sprinted to the finish line at the end of 2011....scoring 6 times in his last 7 games. He has a nice chemistry with Ponder and he'll flourish without Peterson in the mix. He's a draft steal.

Players ranking immediately ahead of Harvin include Brandon Marshall, Miles Austin and Marques Colston.
