Letroy Guion Injury: Starting Tackle Returns To Practice

Minnesota Vikings starting nose tackle Letroy Guion returned to practice Monday with a brace on his knee, according to an ESPN report. Guion suffered a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee early against the San Francisco 49ers in the Vikings' first preseason game.

"We'll see how he continues to improve," said Minnesota head coach Leslie Frazier, who was hopeful Guion could return for the Vikings' third preseason game Friday against the San Diego Chargers. The Vikings are pretty banged up right now.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Guion has seen limited time in his 5-year career but is expected to start at nose tackle for the Vikings. He's tallied 38 career tackles and 2.0 sacks with a forced fumble.
