Letroy Guion Will Likely Sit Remainder Of Vikings Preseason Games

Letroy Guion has missed the majority of training camp for the Minnesota Vikings after being re-signed as a starter this offseason. It sounds like he'll be on the sidelines for the rest of training camp, too, after re-injuring his knee earlier in the week.

Leslie Frazier said on Wednesday that Guion is likely to miss the remainder of training camp after the defensive tackle re-aggravated his PCL injury earlier this week. It's obviously a setback under any circumstances, but Frazier explained to the Star Tribune why this hurts Guion more than usual.

"It's just unfortunate that he is missing all these reps," coach Leslie Frazier said. "We really needed him to get those reps at that position. It's somewhat of a new position for him, so it's tough. But that's the way it is right now."

It's never good to miss time while trying to learn a new position, but everything should be OK as long as Guion is 100 percent healthy for the start of the regular season.
