For the first time in a month, John Carlson will be practicing with the Minnesota Vikings, according to Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 AM.
Carlson had been sidelined since July 31 with a knee sprain, and he has yet to play in a preseason game. It is unclear as to what extent he will be participating in practice, but he will be in full pads.
There are two others who will also be returning to the Vikings on Sunday, including Letroy Guion and Chris Cook. Guion had missed Friday's game with a knee problem, while Cook had been out with a concussion. Both will be out on the field fully taking part in drills.
