Vikings Roster Cuts: Minnesota Cuts RB Jordan Todman

Minnesota Vikings running back Jordan Todman was hoping that his big game on Thursday vs. the Houston Texans would earn him a spot on the team, but unfortunately for Todman, it was not to be. Todman, who ran for 114 yards (including a 76-yard touchdown) against Houston, was cut on Friday night by Minnesota as the team trims its roster to 53 men.

Todman missed most of camp with an ankle injury, but the 2011 sixth round pick of the San Diego Chargers is likely to be given a look by another team around the league. The Vikings also cut Lex Hilliard and are expect to keep Matt Asiata as their third back behind Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart.
