Vikings Practice Squad Almost Set After Multiple Moves

The Minnesota Vikings cut cornerback Zack Bowman on Saturday to make room for cornerback A.J. Jefferson, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Jefferson was acquired in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals on Friday.

Also caught up in the roster shuffle was offensive lineman Patrick Brown, who was cut after struggling through the preseason with injuries and in-game penalty issues. He was replaced on the roster by Mark Asper, a rookie from Oregon who was cut by the Buffalo Bills and picked up on waivers.

Minnesota also added four familiar faces to its practice squad, inviting running back Jordan Todman, cornerback Bobby Felder, defensive tackle Chase Baker and offensive lineman Tyler Holmes back to the team after cutting them from the 53-man roster on Friday.
