Niners At Vikings Score: Kyle Rudolph Gets His Second Touchdown Catch

The Minnesota Vikings converted the second play of the fourth quarter into a touchdown, and now lead the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 24-13 with just over 14 minutes remaining in the game at the Metrodome.

The Vikings drove deep into San Francisco territory, and after a run by Adrian Peterson got them down to the 2-yard line, Christian Ponder dropped back and lobbed one in the direction of Kyle Rudolph, who was tightly covered by San Francisco safety Donte Whitner. The two players fought back and forth, but Rudolph managed to stick out one hand and reel in the catch with Whitner all over him. Blair Walsh added the extra point, and the Vikings' lead was back to 11 at 24-13.

This is the first multiple-touchdown game of Kyle Rudolph's career. . .and hopefully the first of many to come.

With just over fourteen minutes remaining in the game, the Minnesota Vikings lead the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 24-13.
