Wide receivers Tori Gurley and Chris Summers were signed by the Minnesota Vikings Monday to fill out their practice squad.
Gurley was a member of the Green Bay Packers practice squad in 2011. The Vikings attempted to sign Gurley to their active roster during last season, however, Gurley declined, instead choosing to remain on the Packers' practice squad. When the Packers cut him this season, Minnesota attempted to sign him again, this time successfully.
Gurley was undrafted in 2011 out of South Carolina.
Chris Summers, an undrafted rookie out of Liberty, spent the preseason with the Chicago Bears but was waived by the team this past weekend.
Six other players were also signed to the practice squad: running back Jordan Todman, cornerback Bobby Felder, defensive tackle Chase Baker, offensive linemen Kevin Murphy and Tyler Holmes and defensive lineman Ernest Owusu. All six of those players spent training camp with the Vikings.
