A.J. Jefferson Looking Forward To New Beginning With Vikings

Cornerback A.J. Jefferson, who was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a conditional 2013 draft pick, is excited to be getting a fresh start. Jefferson started seven games for Arizona last year before losing his job, and with Minnesota he'll get a chance to prove himself all over again. Jefferson told the press on Wednesday that he's had an easy time transitioning to the Vikings system.

"It should be an easy transition," he said. "Football is football wherever you go. Terminology is a little different, playbook's a little different, that's about it."

Jefferson was an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State in 2010, but he made Arizona's roster out of camp that year. For his career, he has 66 tackles and an interception.
