Jaguars At Vikings: Blair Walsh Connects Again

The Minnesota Vikings are more than happy to exchange field goals with the Jacksonville Jaguars, as long as it keeps them in the lead, it appears.

Minnesota once again put together a decent drive, moving the ball 57 yards in nine plays. It appeared as though they were going to have a 4th-and-1 situation inside the 20, but a holding penalty on Charlie Johnson was accepted by the Jaguars. . .a strange move, to say the least. But the Jaguars got away with it, as Christian Ponder's pass went off the hands of Kyle Rudolph on third-and-11.

Blair Walsh, the rookie from Georgia, then came in and hit his second field goal of the afternoon, this one from 42 yards out, to once again give the Minnesota Vikings a five-point lead, this time at 20-15.

The time is getting short at the Metrodome, as the clock is now showing 5:33 remaining in the season opener. Can the Vikings hold on for the victory? Keep it tuned right here to SB Nation Minnesota to find out.
