Though the Minnesota Vikings still have at least one game left this season, NFL draftniks are busy creating mock drafts in advance of April's 2013 NFL Draft.

In SB Nation's latest mock draft, the Vikings are projected to select Oregon State Beavers cornerback Jordan Poyer with the No. 22 pick -- even if it's considered a bit of a reach.

Every year in the draft we see some unexpected picks. Most will scoff at this choice, and it's early for Poyer. But he's perhaps the best zone coverage cornerback in the draft this year. Poyer has good instincts and can quickly break on the ball. It's a reach, but a perfect scheme fit.

With roughly four months to go until the draft, there's plenty of time for Poyer's draft stock to fluctuate -- and at this point in time, it's nearly impossible to determine whether or not Poyer is a reach.

As a senior in 2012, Poyer intercepted seven passes, including three in a 19-6 win over Washington State. Regardless of he's a reach, Poyer would help boost Minnesota's secondary.

Still, it's unknown if the Vikings will even own the No. 22 pick in the draft. If the Vikings defeat the Packers on Saturday night, they will slide down further in draft position.
