The justifications for the Wild continue to defy where they are ranked by Mr. Goldstein, but he drops them one place to come in at 25 this week. He could have cited a winning, yet weak, road trip, the goalie situation, a lack of team defense. Nope. He drops the Wild one place and here is his reason:
Pierre-Marc Bouchard has looked good since coming back, and Brent Burns is quietly having a big offensive season on the Wild blue line.
