Wild Schedule: First Place Wild Have Three Home Games

For more on the Wild, visit SB Nation's Hockey Wilderness.

The Minnesota Wild enter this week as one of the hottest teams in the NHL having won four straight games to build a five point lead in the Northwest Division. Minnesota begins the week on Wednesday night when the Nashville Predators come to the Xcel Energy Center. This is the first meeting of the season between the Wild and the Predators, and Nashville is currently in second place in the Central Division.

Friday night is a key game in the Northwest Division as the Edmonton Oilers come to town. Edmonton sits in second place in the division with 22 points to Minnesota's 27. The Wild have already defeated Edmonton twice this year, but both games went to a shootout. Each game was tied 1-1 before going to overtime.

Sunday evening the Calgary Flames come to St. Paul in another Northwest Division game. Calgary is in last place with only 17 points. On November 8 the Wild went to Calgary and earned a 3-0 victory as the fifth game in a five game winning streak.
