Wild Schedule: Minnesota Can Increase Division Lead

For more on the Wild, visit SB Nation's Hockey Wilderness.

The Minnesota Wild are already six points clear of everyone else in the NHL's Northwest Division. With Detroit's loss on Sunday night they also now have the longest winning streak in the Western Conference. The Wild will try to increase their four game happy streak as they continue their five game road trip this week.

Tuesday night the Wild will head to San Jose to face the Sharks, who are in the midst of a heated battle for the Pacific Division. The Sharks are in third place in that Division, but they trail first place Dallas by only two points. The road trip continues on Thursday as Minnesota heads back to southern California to face the Los Angeles Kings, who are also battling for the Pacific Division lead.

Saturday night the week conclude with a game at the Phoenix Coyotes. Phoenix and San Jose are tied for third in the Pacific Division, each with 29 points.
