Many of you are, in all likelihood, partaking in Hockey Day In Minnesota already, but if you're not, there's a way for you to watch the festivities.
↵Fox Sports North is showing 14 consecutive hours of hockey programming, which kicked off today with an outdoor game between Wayzata and Roseau. There's a second outdoor game coming today as well as Hill-Murray, the top-ranked team in Minnesota, taking on the Moorhead Spuds. Both of those games will be played on Moorhead's new outdoor rink.
↵Wayzata came out on top in the opener, 2-1 in overtime. The puck is just getting ready to drop for the second game in Moorhead.
↵Fox Sports North will be showing a couple of other games as well. They will be showing the game between the Gopher men's hockey team and the Denver Pioneers at 5 PM, and cap everything off with coverage of the NHL game between the Minnesota Wild and the St. Louis Blues from the XCel Energy Center starting at 8 PM.
↵This is the fifth annual Hockey Day in Minnesota, and hopefully it will continue to grow in stature and scope the way it has thus far.
