2012 NHL Free Agency: Minnesota Offers Contracts To Targets Zach Parise And Ryan Suter

The Minnesota Wild extended offers to 2012 free agent targets Zach Parise and Ryan Suter on Sunday, in hopes of luring the two highly-touted talents to further their careers in St. Paul, Minnesota.

While the details of both offers are unknown, and a bit ambiguous for that matter considering how coveted these two players are, it's still good to see Minnesota actively pursuing top talent right away this summer. While Parise seems to be the more coveted of the two players around the league, Minnesota could hold a slight edge for the 27-year-old Minnesota-born winger if he opts to return home.
