MINNESOTA SWARM'S ANDREW SUITOR NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
This year's fourth overall selection in the draft racks up his first award in the NLL

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced that Minnesota Swarm T Andrew Suitor has been named the Rookie of the Week.

Suitor, 21, finished with a career-high four goals on only four shots taken on goal and collected eight loose balls in the Swarm's 13-8 playoff clinching victory last Saturday against Calgary. Suitor did not play in last Friday's 15-12 loss at Calgary.

The native of Orangeville, Ontario has recorded seven points (4g, 3a) and 68 loose balls in 10 games this season. Suitor also leads all rookies with 45 face-off wins.

The NLL Weekly Awards are decided by a vote of the league's Head Coaches and General Managers.

Minnesota (6-7) takes on the Washington Stealth (7-7) on the road this Saturday at 9:30 p.m. CT in a game that will likely decide who finishes in second place in the West Division. The Swarm has won both meetings against the Stealth this season.
